57th SOS Day Celebration!

Last June 24, 2006 the seven SOS Children's Villages in the Philippines celebrated their 57th SOS Day.

They had a mass, and other villages had musical presentation. Local sponsors were invited for the celebration.

Three Italian nurses working for SOS Children's Villages evacuated fromSomalia.

SOS Children's Villages mourns the tragic death of Italian Sister Leonella Sgorbati, 66, who was responsible for the setting up andoperation the nursing school at the SOS Hospital in Mogadishu, the only hospital with a functioning maternity ward and gynaecological care facility in Somalia. >>more...
